Hello I would like someone to recommend me an ink jet printer that I can use pigmented ink with I just wasted £100 on an Epson R285, Pigmented ink and refill cartridges the head alingment would never print perfect for me so I ended up binning that.

Could someone please point in the right direction I would like to able to refill using my own ink and cartridges.

Hi,
I,m also based in the U.K and i've had similar problems. I started with an Epson R265 and fitted a CIS system, total nightmare, the CIS self-drained itself into the printer! I then read on these forums that people were having more success with refillable carts. I purchased a cheap Epson SX105 in the january sales and have just fitted some refillable carts to this machine. Not easy!

Looks like one of the posters is having success with a 'budget' colour laser printer! This could be the way to go, well at least i'm going to look into it.
Personally i've had it with filthy hands and blue fingernails
