Default Bleeding with claria inks

I am using a epson photo 1400 with claria inks and transjet ink jet paper from best blanks. I just did my first sample using a low (170) DPI and I got alot of bleeding. Has anyone else had this problem. I had a epson 1280 that gave me great results. These are terrible. Does anyone have good luck with the photo 1400?
