Default trouble with MIS ink cartridges not flowing

OK I'm getting ready to throw in the towel here. I have had nothing but problems with this ink. MIS from inksupply. I am using a C120. New problem is that the back ink will not flow at all. I have just installed the cartridges, and removed the color cap, gently shook the ink. Did a ink nozzle check, head cleaning and alignment 4 x plus and about 50 black print and no black. The past problem was I could make about 16 prints then had to do a nozzle check, cleaning and alignment to get it to print all the color correctly. Can anyone help I really wanted to use a good printing ink with out going to a bulk system and the was the alt. Now I have quite a bit of money in it and have to always go back to the ink. Not the purpose here. HELP.

Some things to try:
1. Don't ever waste your time with an ALIGNMENT - this has nothing to do with nozzles not printing.

2. Black ink is thicker (bigger particles of sublimation material in the water based suspension) than the other colours, so if the particles are too big for the print head, it will always block.

3. If you are using cartridges only and NOT bottles, then your problem may well be the cartridges.

4. If you are using bottles attached to the cartridges with pipes, then make sure the bottles are on the same level as the printer (on the same table), and that if there are any ink filters they are clean. If there is ink in the filter (on the bottle) make a hole in it with a pin.

5. As a last resort, lift your ink bottles 1 foot off the table and do three cleaning cycles from the printer itself (not the PC). Once done, lower the inks to the table with the printer and leave for 10 min. This will in most cases sort the problem out. DO NOT LEAVE THE BOTTLES RAISED AS ALL THE INK WILL DRAIN FROM THE BOTTLES INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE PRINTER.

Thanks for the reply. They are the cartridges, I need for events and didn't want the bottles. Should I check with whole size in the cartridge?

Check to make sure the cartridge isn't overfilled, and also make sure that the air hole is open.
