Re: Epson Sale C120 $31.20, 1400 $143.20, 20% off clearance
Thanks, Bob, we love these sales around here. =)
If anyone needs c120 ink, it's worth getting the c120 just for that reason alone, it's cheaper than buying the OEM ink any other way.
This is the price I got my 1400 at, and I have started printing with it. Man, it is soooo nice. I printed a picture onto photo paper with my cx9400, and decided to give the 1400 with the Claria a try, and it was like going from an econocar to a luxury ride. I loved it. The pic was amazing in comparison. Nice printer that 1400 is.
For heat transfers, tho, the c120 and cx9400 are totally fine. Thanks again for posting the good news... it's always a party when these go on sale. =)

Kelly, what are you using the 1400 for?? I have an older 7500, what a nice machine.
I have been looking for a all in one, with wi fi. They don't have them on sale, wish they did. I bought a HP and I could not use my flexi, program. After 2 weeks with HP on the phone, it goes back tommorow. I want the wifi so we can print from the laptop.

Re: Epson Sale C120 $31.20, 1400 $143.20, 20% off clearance
I bought the 1400 mainly for large print photos. I want to print my own. Not going to do large transfers with it. The 8.5x11's are fine for me, plus, I want to move over to vinyl (glitter ), and rhinestones (). Love that stuff. So really I got it for photos. That is why I'll probably go with Claria compatible on the refills. I have enough pigment printers to keep me happy for a while.
Is that a Stylus Pro 7500 or the laser 7500? (I'm guessing the Pro 7500... ) Looks nice in the prod specs. The 1400 is the econocar in that comparison!
Omgosh... those wifi's look so nice... imagine being able to put the printer anywhere you want to, and being anywhere you want to, and being able to print? My dream is to stack the printers going up the wall, and wifi would make that so possible. Putting them along the horizontal surfaces it taking up all my space... I feel like I am about to be mobbed by printers! =)
But that doesn't stop me from wanting another c120 for the ink supply! I didn't get the carts yet and will need it soon (again). I just keep pulling ink from the box and shoving the printers in the attic.

Ok, ok, ok! STOP ALREADY telling me about these deals! LOL! Thanks Bob! I just ordered the C120. I have the CX9400Fax that I just started using a few weeks ago and I've done about 24 transfers and the ink is half gone.
I need to learn about CIS's and refills and such things.
I'm enjoying the forum and learning.

Kelly,
I've got to use restraint. REALLY I do. I was telling my husband 'on you' and he just smiled. I ought to take photos of my sewing room. LOL!
I have the HP in my grandsons playroom, the CX9400 right here beside me and I'll probably put the C120 up in the sewing room.
I've got to take the time to look up some threads on refill thingies of the c120.

I know the feeling. It is a stylus pro and it is around 4ft long, my Roland is not far behind that. Then we have the C120 and a HP office all in one (looking to replace). Space is a premium with the big units.

What are your thoughts on the R280 for transfers and such? I currently use a laser printer, but would love to be able to use the JPSS paper in the future. Plus I like being able to print directly on CD/DVD....
Re: Epson Sale C120 $31.20, 1400 $143.20, 20% off clearance
Hey Bill,
My right click button is deciding it doesn't want to work today... I've been in threads on the R280. I'd hook you up with links, but like I said, the RC is being lazy. I'll have to reboot it.
If you search the forum for "R280" the first page brings up some of the threads I remember seeing around. The print heads were the same size as the 1400 on the R280, so as far as I can tell, any re-fill or cis inks you can run thru a 1400, you should be able to run thru the r280 as well.
Then look up "AquaGuard"... a fellow posted it was a cd for printing on because of it's special qualities, waterproof, the only true kind (something like that)... the post was great and will tell you everything I can't remember in detail.
Hey Bob,
I forgot, one of the other reasons I got the 1400 was for the direct to DVD/Cd printing. Love that feature. We print white sticky labels for this now, but I can't wait to direct print with this printer. =) Good luck finding the all in one, are you looking for HP specifically?
Re: Epson Sale C120 $31.20, 1400 $143.20, 20% off clearance
Oh no, I'm looking for the Epson printer, R280 because it looks as though it handles direct to cd/dvd printing. My laser is a Konica Minolta Magicolor, which works GREAT but isn't very portable.
Plus I can't run JPSS paper through the laser.
I was just asking about the 280 for use with transfers, as I don't want to get an inkjet that won't give the quality that I need from it
Re: Epson Sale C120 $31.20, 1400 $143.20, 20% off clearance
Why do they do this to us? I have three printers, all in one lexmark, epson 1400 and samsung laser, in my work room and two still in the box out in storage but I'ld like to get another 1400 for a spare. The thing is I get onto my wife for buying to many of anything and can't be hypocritical with her. Gosh they are making it hard.
Re: Epson Sale C120 $31.20, 1400 $143.20, 20% off clearance
Hi Bill... yeah, that's what I thought you meant. Did I confuse things in my post? Sorry if I did. The R280 looks like a great printer for transfers the trade off to get the direct print to dvd/cd is having more ink carts to deal with. I re-booted so I can get you those links now if you want them. What ink can I put in Espson printers? EPSON C120 or R280?

I really hate HP, love Epson.
Epson's don't have any memory for the fax, if you have no paper in the tray and get a fax it is lost forever. That is what I'm told anyway.
I'm looking at a Brother now, it has great reviews.
I recently bought the J6450 with the wifi but it blocks my Flexi from sending to the Roland. HP will not or can not fix the problem, and the software from HP constantly has problems. Always shutting down, very hard to deal with. When you need graphics sent and recieved it is not acceptable.
