Default How do I transfer my Epson 1400 over to pigment inks

OK....I have got the 1400 and the cart system from inkjetfly is what I am settling on. My question is, what do I have to do to my 1400 to get it to work with the pigment inks. Again, printer is still in box, so I will be starting from scratch. Thanks a lot....This forum has been an incredible resource for me.

Not much, just remove the stock in cartridges and install the CIS according to the instructions. Then power up the printer and it should do the rest automatically. I use the same system on my 1400 and love it.

If you had already used the 1400, you would have to flush out the print heads before switching over to pigment inks.
Also you will probably need to install a new printer profile for correct color control. Instructions for that should be in your CIS kit.
