Can I use a Canon i9900 for t-shirt and mug transfers? If so, what is the best ink and transfer paper to use? Also, does anyone know of a CISS that would work for this?

I think that model uses dye based inks which don't hold the colors as long on inkjet transfers.

You may want to look into getting an Epson printer with durabrite inks or one that can handle a bulk ink CIS system: MagicFlow! CISS - Continuous Ink System
