Default Need to Know if this project would be worth the effort

guys,

first i am not sure if i posted this in the correct place. if not please move it to the correct forum

i have been considering getting back into the t-shirt business. I have an opportunity to immediately pick up a contract from the local soccer league which i am a board member. they currently have the jersey manufacturer print the numbers on the back and the logo on the front, but they are not too happy with the company and have all but offered me the job of at least printing the logo on the front. we normally have about 300 - 350 players each season. I have thought about having plastisol images printed for me and just doing the pressing myself. they are also going to do some short order t-shirts, hoodies, sweats, and caps that i would be the one printing.

what i am wondering is if this job alone would be worth me getting back into the business, and what would you charge for something like this? Also would it be worth having the transfer's printed for me to save me the initial cost of having to get a good printer and the blank sheets and doing the cutting myself. I do have some other opportunities that might allow me to pick up some additional printing.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Michael,
I can't tell you if this is worth your time or not, what I can tell you is that this the kind of thing that got us into the business and we could not be happier!
If you still have your press and time to re-acquaint yourself it might be a good opportunity to pick up some extra cash every year and do something really great for your organization.

or of course you could always send it our way and we will enjoy the business
