What is the best and easiest way to figure vinyl for car windows and wall wording and such? My husband tried to help but he has got me totally confused. He was trying to do a square yard.
Is if by the running ft and do you times the width by the length?
Could anyone give me a simple math figuring to be able to price something to someone? Appreciate it!!!!

Keep it measured by something smaller than the area to be putting the vinyl on. Sq ft or Sq Cm. Figure the square footage by the vinyl used to cut the decals/lettering not the area covered by the vinyl. One more thing that is just a personal judgment. I have a Graphtec CE5000-60 that cuts 24" material and bought a lot of 24" material when I bought my cutter. Well, now I buy my vinyl in 15" rolls. With the 24" rolls, I have a lot of smaller pieces to save for other projects but the 15" vinyl is a lot easier to reduce waste or scraps.
