Default pricing custom designed T-shirts

We operate a custom T-shirt out of our home. We mainly market to R.V groups. We do all our computer designs and use a vinyl cut and print system. What
%of markup to use. Our main market is snowbirds. Thanks for your assistance

Working out of your home or an store front, you still have overhead. You have to fingure in all of your overhead including materials and then determine the profit margin you want to reach.

Thank you GIRL SPARKS, We appreciate your response regarding pricing custom t-shirts. We are winding down for the season here in Yuma. As you know the temp. gets pretty hot here. All of our snowbird customers go back home.

I make custom designs and if it is going to be a "stock" transfer, one that I can print the same way every time, I stick with the cost * x model. However some of my designs are one of a kind, works of art with up to 5 or more heat pressed elements and those items I price upwards, based on my labor and unique materials ie- rhinestones or flock. So, for example a basic single transfer unisex T is $20, and a custom 5 transfer with rhinestone T might run upwards of $35. Same with my hoodies, they vary from $35 to $60. I sell at horse shows and that market bears a higher price. I also make the T's on-site to order. The customer picks out all of the items they want, where they want it. It is an apparel stew and is alot of fun!
