Default Will you help me plan my pricing?

I've been away from the board for a while and actually not real active in the business as of late. I'm really excited to get back to business but I do need some help.
I'm reaching out to fellow forum members for your help in creating my pricing. I know this topic has been gone over before, but my searches have not resulted in any answers that satisfy my questions.

My business is mainly based on receiving requests for small orders of custom imprinted t-shirts for small businesses and organizations. I in turn order blank shirts and have a company such as F&M print the transfers. I press the shirts, deliver and it's on to the next job.
The problem is that I've struggled with pricing and still do. My pricing has always been based upon my overhead and comparing to what others are pricing. But this is difficult due to their not being a lot of info from other "heat printers".
Before I get back into doing jobs and being stressed over weather or not I have the right pricing, will you help me to come up with the proper pricing?
I'm planning on attending the ISS show in Atlantic City this Saturday and would be more than happy to meet up with any forum members who may be able to assist.

There's a whole section of the forum for pricing heat transfer services here:
Pricing Heat Transfer and Heat Pressing Services - T-Shirt Forums

What exact information are you looking for that you haven't found yet?

This is a good thread to start out with:
Are you making cost or profit?

This thread has some pricing software resources:
Looking for Free Quote software

Without knowing your overhead, it's hard to help you plan with specific numbers. The threads above should help you see what to look out for and factor in.

There is a general rule of thumb that goes like this (and there are other thumbs out there):

wholesale = cost X 2
retail = wholesale X 2

I don't understand why you can't access local prices? Is it because there is no competition to compare your prices to? If there is competition, can't you call up and get a quote on a typical order, to find out what your customer will be quoted if they go down the street?
