I have a question with heat transfer pricing. let me know if I got this right

I'm using heat transfer sheets

I would charge
$5 for White Tshirt with lettering 25 or less. add .50 per letter.

$7 for light colors with 25 words or less.

I dont have a price for dark colors (need advice).

$15 for custom designs

$12 for stock designs.

5% discount on 12 shirts or more

Can anyone tell me if I'm okay regarding my prices or not.

Looks OK to me the $5 might be a little low depending on your costs. There is a great thread about are you making cost or profit, Are you making cost or profit? As far as charging by letter I would charge by transfer area. Hope that helps and good luck.

Ok i am new to the tees world..
but your list is really helping me because i do my own pressing..and i really wanted to know how to price them...

i do want to offer cheaper tees but i cannot imagine a tee for $5....
i pay $1.80/shirt and transfers about the same price.. so the my total expense is $3.60...i sell my tees for $15 ...on special $12 and i do that to offer lower priced shirts in addition to the customized rhinestones which start at $25...
but i won't go lower than $10/shirt with heat transfer..
(By the Way are there any good transfers places on line..i usually shop local)

i am a one man band right now but i would like to be able to take bigger orders but i wont be able to handle it right now...

i didn''t know to charge more for the dark shirts..i like that

is the 5% discount on the total price to custmr or each shirt??

The 5% discount would be the total from 12 shirts or more and you would have to charge more for colors, it's more labor and shirt prices are a little higher.
