Im pretty sure that you would need vinyl for bumper stickers. I dont think screen printing would be the best because of weathering & UV light. the print would fade pretty quickly. In my screen printing class they recommended to not screen print on plastic, glass or metal. Plastisol inks need a porous surface to adhere to.

you need solvent based ink for flexible PVC substrates, ask your ink supplier.
you will also need some specific retarder and diluant for the ink, and a 300 mesh screen.
pvs inks air drie in about 20 min, or, if you use a domestic haird drier, in about 30 sec.
the ink smells nasty and you better use a mask.
there are some useful threads around here about printing on PVC

You need a better class. You can print on all of those things if you use the right ink. Screenprinting on glass is especially awesome.

You wouldn't screenprint on those substrates with plastisol, but that certainly doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't screenprint on them.

Either your teacher badly expressed himself or you might have misunderstood his answer.

As Lewis said, you can screen print on most substrates provided you use the right ink for that particular job.

ok...now that we know it can be done...what inks do you recommend for printing on labels...and I was thinking about printing on those vinyl door magnets...anyone know where to get blank door magnets and which type of ink for that?
