Default Matsui Discharge Instructions

I teach a graphic design course that has a screen printing element to it and want to try printing using discharge agents. What steps are involved here. I have the dryer, flash unit etc, in my lab. I have plastisol inks and a container of Matsui Discharge Agent. What steps are involved to make a print with what I have. We rarely print shirts so I need the idiot guide without the lingo. Again, I have ink and the agent. Can I make a discharge print?

MAtsui discharge is a water base ink. You need the Discharge base along with the activating agent. Together they work to discharge an image on a shirt. You can not use the Agent with plastisol inks. Two different ink systems.
You need to get the Matsui discharge base to mix with the Agent.

Clarifying what is available.....

There is a discharge base made by Union Inks called Plasticharge that IS plastisol friendly.

You're still adding the ZFS "Discharge Agent" Powder (all the same and available from Matsui, Union, Rutland, Etc.) to the Palsticharge Base product, but this formula also allows the addition of a plastisol color or concentrate to tint the base for a one-step process that discharges garment dye (100%cotton) and leaves the plastisol color in place.

Happy trails to all!
