If you are using waterbased inks, then keeping the image covered with ink is a must. It's called flooding.
But, with practice either way will work well with plastisol inks too. Using the non-flood method, you just need to make sure you have a nice uniform buildup of ink along the entire front of your squeegee before you begin your stroke. |
