I need very little of green, blue, and yellow WB inks.
Instead of going out and buying the full quarts of each for 45$ {Canada Eh!} , I was wondering what pigments I can get to colour my White WB ink instead.
Has anyone ever pigmented white ink, and if so, what did you use?
I've pigmented white ink using actual pigment concentrate, intended for screenprinting. I haven't tried any DIY solutions for this, sorry. Have you looked into the price of using concentrate and base?
I haven't tried it myself, but nor have I heard good things.
On the other hand, price is a factor for this project, and most people say things like "Speedball is fine for hobbyists, there's just better ink out there".
It might be the best choice available to you.
(personally if it was me, I'd be willing to give it a go if I had a reason to)
Just use pigment concentrate, but be in mind that mixing white ink you will get only pastel (medium bright colors), like yellow, rose, light green, light blue and etc., because whites has to much titanium dioxyde (white pigment). Also do not add more than aprox 10% pigments concentrate (total of all pigments), in other case you will lose washing fastness.
