Default What is the best Ink Cleaner to use for plastisol inks?

Hey fellow printers,

In need of a recommendation for a great plastisol ink screen cleaner. Using turpaniod or turpentine to clean but seems a bit toxic and disposal of rags is an issue. Appreciate any suggestions.

WHAT IT IS...

I like the Franmar chemical line. Both the Greeneway and Bean-e-Doo work very well for cleaning ink. They are enviro-friendly and don't have bad odors. Check out Franmar Chemical - Environmentally Friendly Cleaners and Removers. (I don't have any connection with them -- just a satisfied customer.)

I used to use Citrapaste which is a "green" citrus based cleaner. It worked great but had a strong citrus smell so I switched to Envirowash which is a "green" soy based cleaner. Also works great, with less of an odor.

Good to know, thanks! I hate having to open the windows in the winter when I spray my current cleaner.
