Default Black water based ink on blaze orange

Hey folks, we need to order some ink for our first youth project. We are printing black on blaze orange 50/50 shirts and was wondering what any of you would recommend for brand of water based black ink that would be the easiest to work with.

My hope is to cure it with heat lamps or heat guns because that's what we have.

Thanks for the help!

Mike

Either Matsui or Permaset are very good inks. You'll have no issues printing black on orange.

You can definitely cure Matsui's 301 RC Black or Spot Black with a heat gun. We've ever seen where these inks have been air dried and hold up through multiple washes! We don't usually recommend air drying these inks since they were designed to be heat cured.

You could always use a heat gun to dry them to the touch and then use your tumble dryer to finish the cure. Just always remember to do some wash tests using the actual garments you intend to print on before beginning production.
