Default clean plastisol off printing side of screen

I screwed up and got plastisol ink on the *wrong* (side that touches shirt) side of the screen. Damn. How can I clean the screen---just that side---so it doesn't spot my shirts?

I'm not quite set up for plastisol, so I don't yet have spirits or anything to completely clean the screen, otherwise I'd clean the whole thing. Will a damp cloth work for those spots?

thanks...

I would use just a dry cloth or paper towel...do not use water...try paint thinner if you have any available...

Yeah a lot of time if it is still wet you can just wipe it off with no chemical, but I would get some ink cleaner on order.

As stated above, a dry paper towel will work.

When you're working with plastisol put the water away. If you try cleaning up plastisol with water you're going to make a bigger mess.

Just use a paper towel and a little orange cleaner, it will dry fast and you should be good in a few minutes.

I've come to notice that it really doesn't take much to wipe off ink if it splatters past the stencil. Dont kill yourself making sure you wiped it all away because you probably won't while your printing. More important, make sure your offcontact is set properly and you should not have a problem with wet ink spotting your shirt where you dont intend.

Man I must have the worst luck, if I leave a drop of ink on a screen it will find a shirt or 10 to land on!

I find ink on my knuckles, elbows, back of my ear, etc.

Colors I haven't used in a while too. I don't get it. Sometimes I wish plastisol would air dry.

I know the feeling... Many times I have sat down to dinner and noticed a color from a previous run or two?

Magic I guess!

I'm with ya' there. I've ruined plenty of shirts by with a little stray ink on the knuckle.
