You should have no problems with pressing transfers on those shirts after washing. The only problem might be the 1X1 rib. With time, I can see the ribs stretching and affecting the transfer.

It's unfortunate that 1X1 rib shirts are so popular with the ladies items and many baby onesies. They're what people want, but they make things just a little more problematic.
