One place I did some work a few years ago refused to pay an employee the overtime they had worked. He reported the business to Microsoft as they had more people using the corporate license for Windows, than was stated. They were fined a total of £27,000 ($56,000).
Several firms I know, do regular computer audits, to ensure they stay the right side of the law. |
