A machine with more than 1 head will sew the same disigns more times at once. A 2 head will sew the same design 2 times and so forth. SWF makes a machine with 2 heads that will sew 2 different designs at the time too. I prefer 1 head machines because they are more veratile, but my 2 head dies put out a lot of work for us. .... JB
