We have a 15" press, and I've pressed continuous designs that are 25" long, and wrap around the shirt. WIth Thermoflex Plus, it's perfectly safe to press one portion, move to the next portion, and so on, and then cold-peel the whole design.
And yes, it's okay to overlap your pressings.
