What about using sublimation for this design? A sublimation printer should be able to handle it with no problem.

One company I'd suggest checking out is Sublimation X. I haven't placed an order with them yet, but I was impressed with what I heard and saw while visiting their booth at a recent co-hosted ASI/Stitches Roadshow.

Their website is Welcome to SublimationX !. My contact's name is Ranger. Let me know if you want his direct number and/or email address.

Just a thought.
That's actually what one of the screen printers suggested as well. Dave from Spreading Ink was very helpful in explaining the issues with it and was the most responsive out of the companies I've contacted. He said it would probably be better suited for dye sublimation.

My main worry with dye sub would be the type of garments it would have to go on. Not everyone is a big fan of the polyester type fabric.

Although Vapor Apparel does have a nice fabric that works for dye sub that feels like a regular shirt.

I don't think the problems were the arm seams. I think it was the halftones (fades) in the design that make it hard to do as an all over print. Also doing it on a dark shirt makes it harder.
