As someone that has used both method i would say that using an DTG is less labor intensive and less messy when doing White and Light Colors.

When you get to dark printing the the steps for DTG are still a little less than screenprinting but with screenprinting you get a higher quality product. Dark printing with DTG is very challenging and you don't always get consistent results.
