one-off design idea I take digitizing online classes from Melinda Dement and recently she showed how to do a child's silhouette. It has become my favorite thing to do for people who need a very special gift that is relatively inexpensive. A side view of the subject scanned in and use a fancy fill stitch. Use two layers of 40 (or 4mm or .4 or whatever your machine used) density underlay to hold knits or hand towels. If I make the silhouette 3" tall the designs are running about $10.00 to sew and customers are loving them. Since there is no real detail the photo doesn't have to be top quality and that makes things easier, too.
Sincerely,
