Ifunk1, this is a very good question. I would like to draw a picture of a political candidate or imprint their picture. I do not want to face lawsuits either. In terms of copyright, copyrights are for phrases or sayings, right and trademarks are for company logos? Where does intellectual property come into play if you use a drawing or the actual picture of a public figure?
