Do you have any idea of what you're looking for in vector files? In other words, are you wanting vector files of people, places, flowers, abstract art, etc?
You may want to check out the

ClipArt.com. (Add $5 for s&h of the software.)
Take a look at all "
Vinyl Ready" link on ClipArt.com and see if what you want is there, as you can use it as you need. I spent time doing that myself last night. You can also search artwork by keywords.
$14.98 sure beats $300.
