You can create a clipping mask that will make letters, shapes, etc look like they are filled with that. Arrange it so the carbon fiber layer is above whichever layer has the shape/text/etc that you are clipping to. Then right click on the layer with the shapes/etc and choose Create Clipping Mask. |
