I woudn't doubt that GoDaddy is doing this, too. Somehow I got an email about a domain that I had on backorder with them. As soon as it became "free" it was snatched up again and I got an email that I could buy it for $200. I'm now thinking that GoDaddy might have bought it themselves and sent me that letter under another name.

This practice should be illegal!
Chani, would you post who your registrar is? I think I should like to switch from Go Daddy, just in case my term runs out before I renew. Thanks a million (or $200, hehe.)
