When I searched for my name (still haven't found it actually), I used of those domain search sites. At the time I didn't realize how these sites work, and unfortunately I learned the hard way, by checking the availability of a name more than a couple times... But only to find that the domain site would then obtain the name, and try to sell it for an unbelievably high amount. I regret not immediately buying it, because now I cannot afford the name I really liked... Just a heads up!
