Good luck with this, over the last 3 years that I have been thinking of names I went through three. It started out being names that I liked and fit the market, and has since evolved. Try to make it something original and that means something. Its nice that when people ask why you chose that name or what it means, that you have a reason for it, and not that it just "sounded cool"
Look at other brands in your industry and see how they do things. Kirra, Billabong, volcom are mainstream. I believe Kirra is a good surf location, or some geographic region. Sounds good for the uneducated, wanabe surfers if you dont mind me calling them that (or poseurs), and the real deal surfers probably know what it means too. win win |
