i've had - and loved! - my DK20S for a number of years! to the best of my knowledge it does not have a pressure sensor in the typical sense of the word - if you crank the knob quickly one direction or the other, it'll show you Pr# and with experience (assuming you either write it down or remember it
) you'll know that Pr5 (or whatever) is good for certain stuff and Pr3 is for other stuff. you still have to twist the knob to get from Pr3 to Pr5 or whatever........so i've never dealt with it. over time, i've just kind of learned what 'feels' like heavy, medium or light pressure when i clamp it down. i do a lot of different substrates - not just shirts - so it varies a LOT from item to item.
