in your opinion, which one would you choose, CorelDrawX3 or Photoshop CS3. They are both running about the same price with both having promotions, CS3 having a 50% promotion which make it 299.99. I currently have photoshop elements, dont know if that would change your mind if you were in my shoes. | | | | | |
Are you comfortable with Adobe Photoshop elements? If so, that might be the way to go (adobe).
Actually, what I would do if I were in your shoes would be to go to corel.com and download a free trial of CorelDraw and then go to Adobe.com and download a free trial of Photoshop.
Use them both for a couple of days doing some tasks you would normally do and see which you prefer.
I think the CorelDraw X3 Graphics suite might be a better deal because it comes with the vector software (CorelDraw) and a raster photo editing software (PhotoPaint), whereas Photoshop only does raster/bitmap file creation.
I have both software packages on my computer and I use each one for different purposes. So I guess it also depends on what kind of graphics you want to do.
