Can shirts with water-based ink pass through an oven faster than plastisol prints or does it need to go slower? | | | | | |
it is my understanding slower as yo have to remove all the moisture from the inks in order to cure properly.
One thing you need to remember is when running garments through a conveyor dryer, the more garments on the belt / in the heat chamber the more heat is soaked up usually resulting in the need to slowing the belt speed. This is one reason you see very large/long dryers. More heat chamber = faster belt speed = faster production
Nazdar sells M&R which is what I use. and is a good choice for your equipment in both quality and service.
Contact M&R directly
M&R Companies, Amscomatic, Nuarc and ask what they recommended for your waterbased needs. If you need someone specific Tim Foreman is a great guy. Heck I can give you Richard Hoffmans direct email if you want to go to the very top yet Tim should be sufficient
