T-Shirt Forums - View Single Post - Same design different color

I have a question that I hope a screen printer on the forum can answer -- if I have the same design on 2 shirts (i.e. a men's and a women's), and I want to order the same 1 color design with a different color on the women's shirt than the men's shirts, would a printer generally charge this as a second design? I don't understand enough about the printing process to know if a design is color-specific.
