Your resale certificate comes from your state sale tax agency.
You just register for one resale certificate with the state you live in. That helps to establish you as a business that is collecting sales tax for orders and buying things wholesale (without tax) for the purposes of later resale.
Once you have this resale certificate, you then just provide either the number or a copy of the certificate to the wholesalers that you want to do business with.
They can then provide you with true wholesale pricing without charging tax as they know you are a person that will be buying wholesale to resell later (after decoration). |
