You already have the right printer and inks that you'll need.
Ironall paper available under a few different names and from different suppliers is what I use for light color shirts. Do a forum search for ironall and you should come up with the other names it goes by. Try this thread:

As far as a hand iron... You can't get the proper pressure and even temps that you really need for heat pressing. I would suggest if you are serious to borrow the funds from a relative or just save your pennies until you have the money. Nothing beats having the right tools to do the job.
