Your artwork will show up in the lower left hand side of the preview window by default. By artwork I mean just the objects that are going to be cut. It will likely have no correlation with the sheet -- if you make a box in the middle of the page, it will be aligned at the edge in the preview.
This has never been a problem for me but to get around it I think you need to select the 'use document origin' option. That should place the cut objects where you expect them to be. |
