If you are doing stantard t-shirts on your heat press, what should be on the bottom platen of your heat press? I have a used one and it has a flat metal piece, with a 1/2" or so rubber piece on top, then wrapped in vinyl. Quite often I have to rub the graphic with a hot pad or something to get it to stick well. Should I go without the rubber piece?
