If you haven't heard of
Woot yet, you probably will hear more about them after next week.
Read more about them here...
Once famous for selling one cool tech product a day with witty product descriptions, woot has now jumped into the t-shirt arena with
Woot : One Day, One Deal
They will be selling one t-shirt design a day, 5 days a week.
They've already got the audience and a community of over 800,000 members (see how they sold 500 shirts with their logo in a few hours!). With some new designers and a growing t-shirt audience, I think they may just have something there...
As a t-shirt junkie who loves buying t-shirts...I'm a little bit afraid.
A t-shirt woot off :shudder:
Looks like they are going to be selling exclusive and original designs printed on American Apparel t-shirts.
You can
apply to be a featured designer by contacting them here.
They are going to have a weekly t-shirt contest (The Derby) where users get to submit their own ideas and have them voted on by the community.
I don't know if they are all going to be $10, but if so, this should be interesting. They have a way of taking things that should be more expensive and selling them cheaper (they're a bit like Google that way).
What do you guys think...is threadless in trouble? Will you be there Monday to see what they've got?
