The okidata laser printers are reportedly working well for transfers. Also look into the duracotton brand of transfer paper for lasers. If you search the forums you'll find lots of information and pictures:

You have to peel the paper off of the shirt with your hands after you press it. Then you throw the paper in the garbage.
