hi dad!! that printer comes with the new Claria inks from epson......they ARE dye based. that said, i printed a shirt from these inks about a week ago just to see what it would do.....it's been washed and dried now twice without losing a lot of color or clarity. i haven't had time to do any more laundry since then
but will keep you posted if it doesn't turn out well!
