I would definitely recommend reading through
some of the versus threads that talk about the various printing methods side by side.
I would also recommend attending an industry tradeshow like
PrintWear or
ISS to see the different print technologies in person, take some classes, and see the final output on t-shirts to compare the different qualities for yourself.
