How about a Hewlet-Packard 9800 Printer?....You can buy them new for about $200±20% and they will print a transparency size up to 13"x19". As far as the RIP, get Ghostview and Ghostscript. You need both. Ghostscript runs in the background, you NEVER click on it. Ghostview is where you make all your commands. As far as the price.....they're FREE.
