So we're reviewing booth options for the January gift market... We attended this past July and did well enough to break even on what we spent (NOT taking into account our time, etc.). We only had six shirt designs (four adult, two youth) and a preview of upcoming goodies.

I'm VERY nervous to take the plunge... I don't know why??? If we covered our expenses, then why wouldn't we this next time?

It's just such a huge expense (just over $3k for this upcoming one) and I wish we could see how the holiday season will finish off before we plunk down the money. We're still "getting started" but I really want to do the January show, as I've heard it's "the" show... I don't want to wait another year and we also want to show buyers and people who visited us before that we have a presence at the market and not that we fell off the map.

I think I'm just looking for support. LOL Thanks all.

Be brave in heart. My belief is that some people that remember you from the previous year may recognize you and say "well they were here before, maybe here tomorrow" . Like you said. If you don't go, then the time put in from last year will/may lose the effect your hoping to cash in on this year. GOOD LUCK.
