Hi everyone! Thanks for all the help full info.
I have started a children's line of t shirts and I am currently looking at doing a trade show.
Firstly, has anyone had experience with trade shows they would like to share?
I have my tees in a few stores already but I would like to
get them out there and I thought the next step would be a trade show.
I would appreciate any info on this topic.
I have googled to try and find a trade show that would suit me but I haven't found anything.

Welcome to the forum.

I'm also in Melbourne but don't know of any Trade Shows specifically for kids garments.

There was a small business trade "festival" at Federation Square recently run by Small Business Victoria, which unfortunately was poorly attended. I will let you know if I find any more as I would like to attend too (we do more general interest T shirts and other products).

That's a shame (about the festival). I'm sure I received an email from them inviting me to have a stall.
I didn't look into it because I decided to try selling through an agent this season.
Anyway, I don't think that the agent is the answer so I would like to try a trade show.
I have done various children's markets and they have been quite succesfull.
I would just like to reach a few more retailers.
If you could let me know what you find that would be great!
I will do the same if I stumble across something.

I new I would have missed something. I know it is buying time now for winter 2010.
I will work on a summer range for the next trade show if I can find one suitable for my tees.
