Default Trial Consignment Period?

There have been several threads on consignment, but I am wondering if a short term, small quantity consignment offer is a way to get your foot in the door?

In other words... you don't know me... you don't know my shirts... take a few on consignment, place them in with your other merchandise... and if they start to sell, we'll talk about future purchases.

Anyone used this method?

Default Re: Trial Consignment Period?

There have been a few people here in the past, probably more then a few, that have gotten their foot in the door that way. If you have the inventory to put out there and take a chance with, I don't see why not. It may be an easier way for you to get your foot in the door during this tougher economy, and thinking of different avenues to take is a good thing. It really depends on if the store is willing to do it, and you are as well. If you do this, make sure to get in writing what the terms of consignment will be though. Remember always get things in writing
