Excuse my english if i scramble a few words.
My problem is with shops ...what i'm trying to say is this scenario : I got the model's i got the catalog i`m dressed nice ,got the clipboard , i open the dor of the shop i walk in and i say....what ? What should i do if the shop manager isn`t there ? ....or is this how it`s done ? plss any help would be great .

this is a good topic. I would like to know peoples experiences with this as well and what worked and what didn't. First impressions seem very important in this situation as many shops might not be likely to look at your stuff a 2nd time.

First, don't ever walk into the shop expecting to get business done.

Make an appointment. Shop owners are very busy, and consider it rude and inconsiderate to just walk in there expecting to meet with them about your products.

Ask to see them, leave a business card, and try to set up an appointment.

Then when you come back go back to all that nice stuff you started with.
