I'm reviving this thread. I'm on the fence at this moment. But I messed up the ISS show. Maybe if we all clap loud enough Rodney will make a showing. Like clapping for Tinkerbell: *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAP*
Lisa are you still going?

I just registered but I'm not going if Robert doesn't go because I'm not riding MARTA by myself!
Who's Marta?
I registered yesterday, but I'm slightly on the fence (although I couldn't resist ordering the bowling shirt during checkout at the SGIA site...darn upsells)
I would say I'm 87% going. Looks like a lot of hotels are sold out on that Thursday.
The only day I'd be able to make it is Saturday. They are only open from 9:30 - 1:00. I'm not sure whether that is worth it, or what I'll be able to see in that amount of time. I was thinking that maybe Rhonda, me and "sausage dog" AKA Nora, could go arm in arm towards Rodney singing "We off to see the wizard ..."

Public transit. I told Robert he could park his car at my place and we could walk down to the 10th St. station and ride the train downtown so we don't have to deal with parking. Anybody is welcome to park at my place (I'm on 9th St.), as long as you don't mind parking on the street.

Look for hotels in Midtown as well because it's really close to downtown. I have had good luck using priceline.com to find good deals on hotels around here. I was able to get a nice room (I think it was a suite, actually) for $79 + tax here: http://www.thegeorgianterrace.com/ Priceline considers it a 3.5 star hotel but it's actually more like a 5. It's directly across from the Fox Theatre and within walking distance to the 10th St Marta Station.
