My shirts are all made in the US and my cost is about $20 per shirt. is it reasonable to sale them to stores for $40 and they can sale them for $85? I want them in high end boutiques.
thanks. I'll give it a shot and see what happens. is it bad to contact the same buyers and try to sell it to them for a cheaper price if they don't buy the first time?
given the economy today...it will be a very hard sell...even in the high end shops...based on your post, a shirt that cost you $20 will sell for $85?? that is an extremely high markup in my area...good luck ..hope it works for you
I would like to sell to Kitson, Fred Segal and so forth. I'm just a bit unsure about pricing and I don't want that to be the cause for not selling. one of my shirt has been used in a movie that's coming out next year and hopefully getting on a show on Tv.
I just always hear people saying you have to really believe in what you're selling and you can sell it for whatever price you want. So I'm trying to really believe in my line to sell it. but doubts do creep up.
